Food of the Future – Our Earth range covered in latest Wholesale Manager issue

Sleaford Quality Foods’ Our Earth range was in the spotlight again month, as part of an article in the Wholesale Manager which discussed the opportunities of inclusive catering open to wholesalers.

The article states that according to FWD, “around 35% of food and drink wholesale distributors’ revenue comes from sales to catering and foodservice providers, who supply food and drink to a wide range of organisations including school, hospitals, social clubs, guest houses, coffee shops and petrol forecourts; [which] supports 569,000 jobs int he wider economy.” With consumers’ tastes becoming ever more adventurous, especially when eating and drinking outside the home, now seems to be the perfect time or wholesalers to look into their offerings for the modern consumer.

Tracey Siddy, Head of Innovation and Marketing, highlighted how the Our Earth aims to improve sustainability within the food industry, practice complete transparency in regards to ingredient sourcing, and catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and requirements. The range includes gravy mixes, bouillons, stuffings, a vegan and gluten free Yorkshire pudding mix (the first in the UK market!), and jelly crystals. The range is largely gluten free, vegan and vegetarian friendly, Halal and Kosher suitable, dairy-free and palm oil free – all with fantastic flavour as standard. The range also boasts 100% recyclable packaging, which will keep storage of the range safe as well as taking steps to address global packaging waste.
