170 miles in 4 days on the hottest weekend of the year!
Yesterday a team of employees from Sleaford Quality Foods completed their 170-mile coast to coast bike ride from Morecambe to Bridlington after four gruelling days which included two of the hottest days of UK weather this year.
Along the ‘Way of the Roses’ route, our team passed through Lancaster, Settle and The Yorkshire Dales before Ripon, York and finally Bridlington. The cyclists faced some tough terrain and steep hills but all made it through to the end. So far raising a whopping £4000 for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, everyone should be proud of this massive achievement.
Well done to all – time for a well-deserved rest!
